  • Astaxanthin for Skin Cancer

    Astaxanthin has been proven to be effective in the treatment of skin cancer and melanomas and this has been attributed to its ability to supress the PDL-1 protein which is common is cancer. PDL-1 (programmed death ligand) effectively enables cancer cells to hide from the immune system.
